Materials we use to construct Kitchens:

Impact

Impact is a high quality melamine faced board. Using bison chipboard as a substrate, a single sheet of melamine impregnated décor paper is bonded to both  the board urfaces under heat and pressure. This provides a durable scratch and  moisture surface. A 2mm PVC edging is used on the door edges to create a durable long lasting product.

Wrap

Vinyl wrap is a protective and attractive finish for kitchen doors that is done with a method of vacuum pressing a plastic decorative foil onto a moulded  MDF (i.e. Supawood) board. Various options of profiles and foil colours are available to mix and match. Profiles add character to a door if one is not happy with a square look.

Veneer

Veneer doors are manufactured with a thin sheet of natural wood applied to a chipboard or supawood substrate. This finish allows one to see the grains and experience the natural beauty of the wood. Veneers are available in a variety of natural colours.

Semi-solid

A semi-solid door also known as a Venice door comprises of a solid wooden frame with a veneer panel insert. This gives the illusion of a solid wooden door and the contract of the two surfaces creates an exclusive look. This stylish option is more affordable than solid doors and creates a modern feel.

Paint Technique (Farm style)

Paint technique doors are made of supawood with various options of patterns painted to give the effect of a farm style or modern kitchen.

Tops:

Formica

Combining a substrate or core of High Moisture Resistance (HMR) grade Bison board and surface of Formica HPL, Formica Life seal worktops merges the durability and strength of its two constituent components to create versatile work surfaces. Formica Life seal worktops are further enhanced by the addition of a balancing backing material (applied to the exposed underside of the top) together with a resin sealant Life seal strip applied on the post formed edge where the Formica HPL meets the Bison board HMR which protects the joint from moisture.

Granite

Granite is an igneous rock formed cooling magma. Granite is quarried throughout the world, with colors and patterns that indicate the region and the geological conditions that created it. Each granite slab is unique, with random and inconsistent patterns providing such a beautiful and classic appearance. The advantages of using granite are that it is tough, has a glassy finish, waterproof, scratch resistant, heat resistant and keeps its color.

Caeserstone / Technistone (Quartz Surface)

All quartz surfaces products are manufactured from up to 93% quartz (one of nature’s hardest minerals) and high-quality polymer resins and pigments that are compacted under intense vibration, vacuum and pressure into dense, non-porous slabs. The quarts slabs are then post cured, gauged to precise thicknesses, and polished to an enduring shine. This results in surfaces that retain the cool, tactile qualities of natural stone while offering design freedom with almost unlimited application possibilities. Quartz surfaces are ideal for virtually any surface from kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and stairs, to wall paneling and interior furniture.

Solid wood tops

Are made out of solid wood, prepared with all kinds of sealant so it is water resistant.
